Round Elimination Final — August 29 Season 2026

Finals are here.

With the B Grade just missing out in the last round of the year, only Lemon's C Grade Glamours side have qualified for September. Finishing at 4th, they play an elimination final against PHOS Camden. With PHOS A Grade hosting their finals game, we will be playing a "home" final at PHOS starting 10:15am. We can't wait to see a big crowd of green and gold cheering on the boys!

As this is the end of the season for our A, B and D Grade Kings, this edition of The Royal Review will say a short thanks to those who made this season possible.

From the midst of a relegation battle, the A Grade won 3 from 3 games to finish off the season with 8 wins in 7th place - in previous seasons, 8 wins has qualified us for finals! What a strong way to finish off the year.

Unfortunately, the sad story of the day was our B Grade. Needing a win to keep Seaton out of the top 5, we were under a lot of pressure facing top-of-the-grade Walkerville. The boys fought well, but couldn't get the job done with the Cats kicking two late goals to seal the game. It hasn't been the D Grades year, and they too finished with a loss in the final round against Uni.

This concludes the season for our A, B and D Grades. Firstly, we would like to give a massive thank you to our coaching staff who made the year possible. Chucky, Wighty, and Jake have all given up a large amount of their time to coach their respective teams this year, and for that we are grateful. Coaching is never a simple job, and although they coach different levels of football, they each continued to put energy, time and effort beyond what was expected all season. Thank you to each of you for your efforts.

We also thank the support staff and trainers who helped the playing squad all year. A particular thank you to Jarv and Jed in the A Grade, Angus "Lowndes" Cother in the B Grade, and Mitch George in the Ds. A big thank you also to our Chief Hydration Officer Morrie Lygo who continues to manage our water running!

We now look towards the C Grade, who we hope can finish the year off strong.

This is big.

The C Grade team has been selected for their elimination final against PHOS Camden. While the rest of the playing squads have begun taking rest, Lemon has been getting the C Grade squad firing on the track. I went out to watch the boys on Tuesday, and I must say, the boys were looking ELECTRIC!! I can't wait to see my fellow Kings and Queens on the sidelines as we support the boys tomorrow morning. Don't miss it! Camden Oval, 10:15am.
